6 Reasons why PS4 is better than Xbox One

BY JESSICA DAVIDSON   |   PS4 is a pretty amazing gaming console, as we all know. A lot of comparisons with Xbox One are constantly made, as well as with the older Xbox 360. Many may favor Xbox, but I’m here to share with you 6 reasons PlayStation 4 is better than all other consoles the market is saturated with.

1. Better User Interface

UI is crucial to everything we do on a software. PS4 has a pretty amazing 1080p, 60fps capability that runs games pretty well. The transitions and the icons are pretty enamoring as well. Xbox One, on the other hand is 900p only, and 60fps isn’t all that well guaranteed.

2. PlayStation Now

Like Android’s Play Store or Apple’s App Store, PS has its own online software routing source, called PlayStation Now. The website allows you to access PS3 games on your PS4, and you can also get services like Netflix on your device. The only problem here is that you might have to pay for some games and services. But if you’re into the entertainment that PlayStation Now can get, the price is not all that heavy.

3. Sharing games with friends

PS4’s Share Play allows you to share your games with your friends. It makes it easy to play with your friends. Called a virtual couch, it is almost like playing games with your best friends as if they are right next to you. Xbox does not offer that. Both friends must necessarily have purchased the game and logged in to view each others’ gameplay or stats, as allowed by the game itself.

4. We’ve got VR!

VR is here, finally! It isn’t all that great, with people looking like cheap animal swim lookalikes and somewhat of a lag being apparent in both games and social media’s frequent 360 degree videos. PS4’s Virtual Reality services are much better than most other devices. Plus, if you’re into playing a game entirely in VR, PS4 has Resident Evil 7! Xbox is still far from realising this to the level of proficiency that PS4 grants.

5. It’s better to look at!

As subjective as it might appear, PS4 looks much better externally. To add to it, the software and the design are better too. Coupled with the great UI about which we talked in the first point, you can see why PS4 is so well loved throughout. It’s much easier on the eyes, and there are easy ways to customize its appearance as well.

6. PS4 means value for money

PS4 is, according to a reasonable estimate, about 30 pounds cheaper than an Xbox with similar features. 30 Pounds is a lot of money and can get you some pretty neat games to play. So if you spend the same amount of money, you end up with 30 Pounds worth of games along with a state of the art console. Many also get a controller of their preference to go with the new device, which can get users an enhanced gameplay that suits their needs best.

To add to it all, PS4 error codes are much easier to troubleshoot than Xbox One’s, for what it’s worth. All said and considered duly, there is no doubt PS4 is better than any Xbox One model out there. What do you think?
