Batman Arkham Knight final DLC pack scheduled for launch on December 22nd

BY AMIT BARAN ROY   |   Developer Rocksteady Studios has announced the final DLC pack “Shadow of Infamy” to be released on December 22nd, which is tomorrow. The DLC pack includes the four ‘most wanted’ missions along with the return of four super villains, namely, Killer Croc, Mister Freeze, Mad Hatter and Ra's Al Ghul. Moreover, the DLC pack consists of a new Bat-Suit which is based on the costume of Christian Bale’s ‘The Dark Knight’ (2008). It was a direct result of overwhelming demand of fans. Even players can enjoy the return of Batmobile from 2009’s Batman: Arkham Asylum. Players who have already purchased the Arkham Knight ‘season pass’, will get the DLC included with it. Following are the contents of the DLC.

Season of Infamy: Most Wanted Expansion Missions

  • Beneath The Surface [Killer Croc]
  • In From the Cold [Mister Freeze]
  • Wonderland [Mad Hatter]
  • Shadow War [Ra’s Al Ghul]

  • Oracle
  • Alfred Pennyworth
  • The Joker
  • Killer Croc
  • Mr. Freeze Nora Fries
  • Mad Hatter Mad Hatter's Henchmen
  • Ra's al Ghul
  • League of Assassins

With this DLC launch, also comes the end of Rocksteady’s association with the Batman: Arkham Series. Head of the studio, Sefton Hill, discusses that in the ‘Arkham Insider Season Finale’ video below. Rocksteady had developed three of the four Arkham games- Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight. We fear that it may also be Rocksteady’s final goodbye to any Batman game in future, as the recent debacle of the PC version of Arkham Knight had created some serious commotion among fans. The video also shows the current DLC in action, so check it out.
