New 1080p screenshots revealed

BY AMIT BARAN ROY   |   Capcom has announced today that Resident Evil 5 is coming to PS4 and Xbox One on June 28. The re-release version of the game will feature 1080p resolution and improved frame rate. It will also include all previously released DLC: Lost in Nightmares, Desperate Escape, Versus Mode, The Mercenaries United mode, and the No Mercy Mode which was previously a PC exclusive.

The Mercenaries United Mode will have all characters unlocked right from the start of the game. The goal of this arcade shooter mode is to gather as many points as possible in the limited time period. Some of the screenshots released for the game are as shown below.

Earlier in February, Capcom has announced that they are going to re-release Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6 for Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Each of the games will be of same price, i.e, $20 / €20 / £16. The PS4 and Xbox One version of Resident Evil 6 was released in March and the Resident Evil 4 port is due in coming months. There are also plans for Resident Evil 2 remake.

Reports also suggests that Resident Evil 7 is in development for PS4 and Xbox One, and there is possibility that it may get revealed in E3 2016 next month. The untitled sequel will reportedly return to its horror roots, in addition to being a "clean slate".
