EA Sports has released an official TV commercial promoting the launch of FIFA 16 which is set to be released on September 22 for PC, Xbox 30, Xbox One, Playstation 3 and Playstation 4. The TV commercial allegedly focusses on the excellent dribbling and juggling skills of Messi as well as highlights some of the new features that have been added to the game like female characters, and a new set of celebrations and skills. The commercial video using the tagline ‘Play Beautiful’ has already reached a substantial number of views on Youtube in a short span of time.
Apart from the commercial, EA sports has also released a new set of celebrations and skills ahead of the game’s official launch to further enhance the promotional strategy. The tutorial video showcases some of the new innovative celebrations such as the ‘Stomach slide’, ‘Timber’ and ‘Botched Knee Slide’. In addition to these, players can perform the ‘Bailando Robot’, Daniel Sturridge’s ‘Riding the Wave’ and the ‘KO’, which to our surprise was not performed in the video by Wayne Rooney. The option to interact with cameraman and substitutes bench while celebrating goals has also been included.
Some of the new skills that have been incorporated into the game are the ‘Fake rabona to heel flick turn’, advanced versions of ‘Fake Passes’, ‘ Ball Rolls’ and most interestingly the ‘Bolasie Flick’ that would bring some smiles in the faces of Premier League Fans. For those of you who are not aware, the skill move ‘Bolasie flick’ got famous when Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie performed this move during a premier league match against Tottenham Hotspur last year and he is still continuing it. Check out some of the stunning skill moves in FIFA 16 in this video tutorial.
Heads Up: FIFA 16 is just 3 days away from its launch on September 22nd for all platforms worldwide. The game has been developed by EA CANADA using the ‘Ignite’ game engine. We encourage you to buy the game to enjoy its thrilling online experience and support the developers for their marvelous efforts. Stay tuned for our full game review and other analysis until launch.
